The Marshall Area Fire Fighters Ambulance Authority responded to roughly 4,000 requests for service in 2016. Call volume during 2017 appears to be on pace to produce a similar number of requests for service. This number represents the total requests for MAFFAA assistance made by the general public, neighboring EMS agencies, and healthcare facilities.

Since January of 2005, Instructors employed by MAFFAA have trained 642 Citizens in the Authority Area and 552 First Responders in CPR and/or First Aid.

In addition to CPR training, Authority instructors have trained 64 Medical First Responders for Local Area Fire Departments, and MAFFAA has further assisted these agencies by providing equipment required to perform life-saving skills and interventions.
